To Live a Flourishing 2nd Half you Will Need to:
- Grow Personal Capacity - Live a more integrated life with Christ.
- Align Your Life - Align your time, resources, and relationships with what God is calling you into.
- Invest Well - Don’t bury your God-given talents! You have been given much…you have much to give.
- Choose to Serve - With humility, continue to grow your God-focused influence. Choose to make a kingdom difference.
- Live on Mission - Increase your clarity on God’s invitation to serve locally and maybe globally.
- Do it With Others…Not Alone! - Learn to follow the Lord’s invitation for your 2nd Half in a rich, like-minded community.

When I was asked “What does finishing well look like”, I didn’t have an answer. At this stage in life when my family is grown, and our team at our company is rising up into their leadership, I wonder what God has planned next for me. What does wholehearted leadership look like at this stage of life? The leaders meet us where we are at and encourage us to seek God, have a fresh experience with Jesus and know His design for my life. I can now step confidently into my second half energized by the clarity I’ve gained. At a time when my life can feel limited by age and lacking energy, learning more about my design and living into it, actually energizes me and helps me freshen my perspective of what is coming next. If you need encouragement as you consider your 2nd half, then this is your group. if you want to feel encouraged while entering into the next half of life, this is the group to work with. They have helped me understand the journey of knowing yourself and deepening my experience of God, while growing as a leader in the marketplace and at home.

At 58 and am possibly stepping out of our greenhouse business this year…I am dealing with a change in “identity” and also a change in purpose and usefulness in God’s kingdom. My challenge is to navigate through all the exciting and scary changes. I joined the community without knowing what to expect about but I knew that I wanted to be part of another group after completing DU’s Master’sMind a couple of years ago. I missed the teaching and community encouragement. It turned out to be custom-made for me (seemingly). It is helping me to find my strengths and design, helping identify how and where I can be used by God in my 50’s, 60’s and beyond. The impact has been great on me so far…I found it encouraging to be led into Psalm 84 etc, to be ready to expect some “dry” times and yet to hear the hope of “rains and springs”. It’s been helpful and comforting to realize that there is a “sweet” spot for me and the process is helping me narrow it down. The focus by the leaders for me to be open to the Spirits’ leading and prompting is very encouraging. I would recommend this for anyone in the 2nd half of life, especially if (like me) they may be transitioning into a new role in life. Even if someone is staying in their current role the course helps them to “seek God’s will and leading”. The leaders practically guide the process to help us get there… doing it with others is very helpful and encouraging.
