The following is the first of a Blog Series on "Moving from Hurried to Purposeful".
I have a challenge for you. It will only take a minute, but it just may save your life, maybe your marriage, maybe your connection with your kids, maybe your business. Up for it?
Read through the following statements. How would you answer them?
- You go through your day with a constant sense of urgency.
- You have a persistent desire for a simpler, more purposeful life.
- You have little time to care for your soul...your thoughts, emotions, and your body.
- You find that you're often trying to do many things at once.
If these feel true to you, I would urge you to click here to download and take our hurry sickness assessment. It is not only well worth your while but could be a pivotal moment for you.
When completing the assessment, be honest...don’t make it sound better than it is. Don’t answer as you would like your life to be. Answer as your life actually is. Remember, the leader's first job is to define reality. So, what is your reality? Click here to download the assessment.

Our own sinful nature and our very bad habits spin us faster and faster.
Yet, if we take Jesus seriously, we cannot ignore his clear invitation to live and lead ourselves, our businesses, and our homes differently. Reflect on the following words from Jesus:

Deliberate Reflection:
- What are your observations...maybe encouragements...maybe discouragements?
- Are you “OK” with what you see? Why or why not?
- What’s the impact on you, your family, and your business if nothing changes?
So, now that you’ve painted a picture of reality, what should you do next? Stay tuned over the next few weeks. In this blog series, we will be providing practical, Jesus-focused solutions and ideas to help you live with more ease and purpose.
